WELCOME TO WASHINGTON!
A special welcome message from our president and his wife.
We are looking forward to hosting each of you this summer in our back yard. Diving deeper into our theme of "whatever it takes" to take the gospel to a dying world! It's going to be a great week. Let's go deeper together!
-Ofa and Jackie Langi
Pastor Ofa Langi is the current president of the Tongan SDA Camp Meeting. He and his wife serve in the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Ofa is the Auburn Seventh-day Adventist Church pastor, and his wife Jackie is the head dean for Auburn Adventist Academy.
Our Story
In 1980, Asipeli Poulivaati envisioned a Tongan Camp Meeting for the Tongan community across the North American Division. Thus, the Adventist Tongans across the United States have been coming together for 42 years.
Over four decades, our parents brought us to camp every year faithfully. They led the way across California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. Today, we celebrate 43 years, and it's an honor to pass the blessing on to our children.
One of Tongan camp meetings' greatest gifts is the lasting friendships formed. We are excited to continue this gathering to grow deeper not only with Jesus but with each other and to understand the mission to do "Whatever it Takes" to take the gospel to the world!

My favorite thing about camp was the youth involvement. It was really good to see the commitment. Also, the spiritual programs got better every day of the week. Since the theme was love, it helped me to love again fully & thru anything. I would 100% recommend others to attend next year's camp to experience it just like I did. I came this year without any of my siblings, so I left home with a mission to push myself, my family, and others to come back for next year's camp.

I loved camp! I had so much fun. One of the things I truly appreciated was how inclusive it was. Sometimes, camp can be a bit cliquish, but instead, I found this camp to be very inviting. As a youth who is not a Seventh-day Adventist, I appreciated how welcoming it was. The best part is that you enjoy Godly fellowship while learning more about Jesus! If you are considering attending camp 2023, I highly recommend it! You will leave spiritually uplifted and with lifelong friends!

My boys had a amazing time in Seattle at the SDA big camp 2022. They experienced so much and loved everything at camp from making new friends, worshiping together, enjoying mother nature especially playing in the mud. Each day was fun and exciting! Thanks to Paita, Aulola and everyone that helped put together the activities for the kids. You guys are the BEST!

Camp 2022 was a blessing. It was a blessing working together with the Southern California Tongan Youth. Looking forward to continue pushing God’s work here in SoCal. Our Hawthorne youth are already talking about next year!
